Avanoo was launched in May 2008, and it makes doing good is as easy as clicking your mouse. They enable web users to promote causes by putting badges on their websites, online profiles, and even your emails; and when the badge is ‘clicked’ a donation is made by a sponsor.
You can participate by either clicking a Avanoo badge that already supports a cause or you could place a badge on any of your online pages. You can support a range of causes and I have placed a badge for “Save the Children”, for a full list click here. This is a rather new website but you can already see the impact it’s making by looking at the results.
It’ll take like less than 5min to put in a badge on your website, online profile or email so take the time to visit Avanoo. The more badges you have the less guilty you have to feel when you pretend you don’t have cash when walking past someon asking for donations.
