There should be no excuse to help out the less fortunate, because by helping others you will be helping yourself.
FreeRice is exactly what it says it is, free rice that is distributed by the United Nations World Food Program (a non-profit organisation). A small game is created for the user to earn the rice to giveaway, the game is to your benefit because it will help you extend your vocabulary. The idea is to match the word to the closest meaning, a correct answer donates 20 grains of rice.
There are different levels of difficulty so you will continually learn as well as keeping you interested in helping to donate rice. The difficulty you work at is dictated by the amount of correct answers you make on the difficulty you are on at the time. An extra 5 levels were added last May, on top of the existing levels that were there, and they will continue to produce more levels.
The rice you donate is bought by sponsors, which can be seen at the bottom of the screen if the answer is correct. Play this game in your free time or when I haven’t updated my blog, the least you could do is to tell a friend. If you’d like to do a bit extra and become a sponsor please email freerice.rep@wfp.org
Like Michael Jackson said “I’m starting with the man in the mirror”, so get on to it and remember that every little bit counts. If you think someone else is going to do it, and they think someone else is going to do it etc., then it’ll never get done!
The almighty drink can energise, replace a meal, alter your senses, rehydrate, give you vitamins & minerals, bulk you up, slim you down, and now there is one that can de-energise you. If drinking is what everyone makes it out to be then one day humans won’t even need teeth.
Drank is a grape flavoured carbonated drink. It’s contains a unique blend of melatonin, valerian root, and rose hips are added to give you that calming inner peace.
“From design to production, every aspect of this calming drink was inspired by today’s popular hip hop artists who embrace the much sought-after hip hop lifestyle that encourages people to capture a stress-free state of mind.” (Media release, 2008 )
To think I all thought hip-hop was all about capping fools, nailing bitches and going after dat getty green. If you thought that too you should take a look at Purple Drank. So when the world is spinning to fast “Slow Your Roll” with Drank, aaahhh.
All us GTA IV players think we have a slight idea of which real life car is represented in the game. However, none of us can be bothered to go and research our assumptions, now some guy (my assumption) has gone and done the leg work for us. Take a look.
I prefer to drive the virtual eco-friendly Dilettante, which is based on the Toyota Prius.
With the emergence of ZM TV; producer/presenter Dan decided to go one step further, a short film. The following is a musical masterpiece produced for the V 48 Hour Furious FilmmakingChallenge.
