It’s no Super Bowl Ring, or any sort of championship ring, but it is the one ring you can dream on.

Sae Shigeto & Ming Lo, two Canadian designers, have developed the perfect solution to boring days at work and school. Its called the Pilo Pilo.

The Pilo Pilo ring is your ordinary finger ring, but with a mini-cushion attached. It is designed to be stylish and comfortable to rest on. I wonder if they could do a more masculine version for me?

Bloody Sick

Quentin Tarantino is world renown for his gruesome work and the Kill Bill franchise is no exception. TV 2 is screening Kill Bill sometime soon and they have asked Saatchi & Saatchi (Auckland) to help promote it.

This is definitely a sweet blend of billboard and ambient advertising. It’d be super cool if it actually does squirt blood. I haven’t seen this personally yet, so it just might do that.

A Six-Pack by Burger King

Ever want to eat more than one flavour of burger but can’t eat more than two or three different burgers? Or do you just enjoy sharing your food?

The newest things to hit the UK market by BK is The 6 Pack – one massive Aberdeen-Angus beef patty inside 6 burger rolls. It is a delicious combination of 3 pairs of burgers that are stuck together but can be torn off to be eaten as an individual burger. In one pair the burger is topped with ketchup, the second has a cheese topping, and the third bacon and cheese. It’s supposedly, burgers to be shared, but I’m sure BK is definitely expecting us to just buy it for ourselves. BK is also rumoured to be launching more varieties with ingredients like tiger prawns and guacamole, yum!!! You’d think that an idea like this would’ve begun in the US, let’s just hope somehow it makes it to NZ.

Lose Your Children Often?

Dcontinuum has come up with an invention so you don’t lose your children. It kind of reminds me of the ankle bracelets that criminals have to wear so the authorities can keep track of them.

The bracelets is worn on the wrist, like a watch. There is one bracelet that is suppose to break into two parts, one for the guardian and one of the child. The guardian’s part of the bracelet has a small LCD screen that gives an approximate distance and the direction that the ‘lost’ child is.

The bracelet is good for only 100 feet, but c’mon ‘what happened to good parenting?’. If you NEED this to look after children then you don’t deserve to have them under your care. What sort of idiot just loses a child.

‘Take It To The Next Level’

You’ve already probably seen this but I just like it way too much.

Guy Ritchie has directed the latest Nike campaign Take It To The Next Level. “Nike have commissioned Guy to put together some really cool feature-length adverts to last the entire commercial break. His brief is to make miniature movies with Nike gear as the star of the adverts.” (The Sun, Jan 2008). So hopefully there is more to come!

See if you can spot the cameo’s; Cristiano Ronaldo, Cesc Fabregas, Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney, Ruud Van Nistlerooy, Zlatan Ibrahimovich, Marco Materazzi, Rafael Marquez, and even Arsene Wenger.

Headphone Cable Clips

Headphones, very useful; headphone wires, tres annoying. The wires always get caught on your arm, or something of a hooked nature, and rip the headphones out of your ears. A cheap, simple and effective invention has just been made by Jaehyung Hong, the Wire Button. The Wire Button secures the wire to a shirt button, simply awesome.

I have personally been inspired by this invention and I have my own adaptation. Even cheaper and even simpler, you probably already one but you just don’t know it yet. Come back soon to see an example

Everybody and everything is going through a green change and you can already reap the benefits. You won’t be mislead about which products to use, because FreeGreen has user ratings (green certification programs such as LEED and NAHB) on the products.

The Nike Air Yeezy

The ultra cheeky, uber sneaky, Kan-Yeezy has a shoe in the works with Nike. The Kanye signature shoe has been dubbed the Air Yeezy. Rumour is that he wore these to the 50th Grammy Awards. The availability of these kicks is still unknown, but it’s probably going to be a hit because of it’s affiliation with Mr. West.
Like other Ye creations it’s an unique blend of his influences. “The design incorporates the Bape Roadsta, Air Jordan III and the Ato Cow Hide Boot” (as cited in Flylyf.com). Personally, I’m not a big fan of the Ato Cow strap.

There is also a link with Kanye’s shoe to Kanye’s show, The Glow in the Dark Tour (feat. Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D.). The shoe glows in the dark.
